well you could go all intel, using only just enough points towards str to equip armor. Then there is also the argument that if you do a combo of intel and (accuracy?) to give you magic damage + high crit. I usually see that build in wiz's, although I have heard of some clerics doing it also. I personally do a hybrid, so for every lvl (5 stat points) I put towards intel, and towards con to increase my hp and def. It makes for a really good solo cleric this way, with a good balance of damage vs def/hp. Keep in mind though that magic def is determined by your intel along with magic attack power, so if fighting magic based enemies it will give you good def, but then phy based mobs could probably 1 hit kill you lol.

This is from a pure wizard's observation: If you go all mag (with enough str for equips) phys mobs won't one hit you unless they're a boss or a LOT higher lvl. You will HATE ranged phys atk mobs, but your dmg will be such that the phys based melee mobs will rarely touch you (especially if you have a knockback for higher lvl mobs). Magic ranged mobs are generally no problem, and poison is almost laughable unless you get a LOT stacked on you, but as a cleric you can purify. I don't know if clerics get a knockback or not though. If not, you may want to go Sek's route and add a little vit to pad your hp for those few extra seconds so you can heal/escape. Not to mention clerics get all the cool buffs, which should help in self preservation even more. So long story short, if you go "full" mag you should be able to survive if you play intelligently. You can always add vit later (not to mention HP shards) if it gets to be too much for you.

I'll add all the noob-cleric stuff I find here: Noob Cleric guide (still reading it) pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1331My word!! I've never seen so many builds for one class . . . . Maybe I should just go pure dex archer build on this cleric *smiles* 'cause I can remember it easy. "str and int to wear latest eq/weapons, rest into con" does that sound good? P.S. My plan with this alt is to not distribute attribute points or get any skills. He'll stay equipment-less and his club is broken so I'll be using my fists. I don't want him to level up too fast, or it defeats the purpose I made him for, to help out the archer (mat/dq-wise). So far I'm having alot of fun, but I did make lvl 3 already, so I might have do die a bit to get my exp back to zero so I don't hit lvl 4. I took on a lvl 20 mob and that seems to kill me fast. *smiles* I'll get spirit culti quests and whatever I feel like, so have no worries. pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=1514582#post1514582
